National Bike Week took place this week from 13th - 19th May 2024 whereby all pupils took part in a number of fun and engaging activities. We were delighted to welcome Garda Stella on Thursday who raised awareness about the importance of ensuring that their bicycles were road worthy. On Friday we completed our annual cycle to Peter's shop where we were all treated to ice cream and juice. On our return to school, pupils were delighted to receive tubs filled with healthy fruits such as strawberries, raspberries, oranges and grapes as part of our healthy eating initiative. By cycling on a regular basis, pupils will gain confidence in their cycling skills and become competent road safety users.
