Our Active week took place from Monday 13th June through to Friday 17th June 2022. On Monday all pupils participated in a variety of activities hosted by our local sports centre, Peace Link Centre, Clones. On Tuesday we headed to Armagh and had fabulous fun playing on all the playground equipment at Armagh Fort. The weather was certainly shining on us that day. On Wednesday, the pupils learned new dance moves with Aysha Trainor from Fusion Dance School. They loved this hip hop dancing and displayed some fabulous moves! On Thursday our annual sports day took place. Children took part in lots of fun activities and new for this year was 'Tug of War' which the children had practised during the term as part of their playground active lunch breaks. Even the parents took part, actively and loudly cheered on by their children. On Friday 17th June, children donned their helmets and jumped on their bikes for a 3km cycle around the local area. Despite the rain everyone had a brillant time.
