After discussions with the pupils and parents it was agreed to facilitate active breaks every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday lunchtimes of the first week of each month. The activities will be planned by the pupils in collaboration with the Active Schools Co-ordinator, Mrs Ann Marie Pennell and the playground leaders. The activities will provide the pupils with new skills while practising old proficiencies. As ‘dance’ is a prioritised focus this year, opportunities to practise different forms of dance will be incorporated in these active breaks.
